Level 1 Description:
Classes begin with floor work for strength, flexibility and
sensual movement. Master basic pole tricks such as the Fireman,
Sunwheel, Front Hook and Back Hook. Each class will develop a basic routine, incorporating
floor work, transition moves, and tricks. Classes are designed to suit any fitness level and body type.
Level 2 Description:
Floor
work will intensify to further increase your strength and fexiblility.
Learn some more challenging tricks such as the Diamond, the Spinning
Eagle, the Chair, and the Crouching Tiger. Each class will build
on a routine which includes moves from level 1 and 2.
Level 3 Description:
Learn to combine 2 spins in one. As well as basic upside down, sitting on the pole, the Corckscrew and the Side spin. Again each class will develop a choreographed routine to a select song. Shorts are mandatory for level 3 and all levels above.
Level 4 Description:
Learn one armed spins, as well as variations of the Crouching Tiger, Spiral, The Inverted Cross, the Lay Back, and Wrist Seat. As always learn a new and more challenging routine.
Level 5 Description:
Learn combination spins with Spiral, as well as the Inverted Thigh Hold, Hang Back, Air Invert, Handstands, and hanging upside down by one leg in Gemini and Scorpio. This routine will challenge your cardio fitness level in a fast paced rock routine.
Level 6 Description:
Learn some gravity defying tricks, such as the Bow and Arrow, Butterfly, Caterpillar, Starfish, Shoulder Mount, Inverted Hip Hold, Flatline, and Crescent. Another fast paced hip hop routine that will be sure to challenge your cardio.
Level 7 Description:
Learn some really impressive tricks using split grip inverts such as the Extended Butterfly. As well as Climbing Catepillar, Cupid, Pencil, Superman and invert combinations. This routine is fun and flirty!
Level 8 Description:
Learn more invert combinations with Butterfly and Superman, as well as Flag, Yogini, Knee Hold, and Dangerous. This naughty routine is to "Porn Star Dancing!"
Level 9 Description:
Learn to really use your upper body strength to hold your body upside down with only your arms in Handspring, Aysha, Jacknife, and Straight Edge. As well as Shoulder Mount variations, Jade, Inverted splits, Brass Monkey, and Rocketman. This is a slow and sexy routine, with impressive tricks.
Level 10 Description:
This level will test your strength, flexibility, and your courage, with some of the signature moves of the worlds best pole dancers. Learn the Iron Cross, Spatchock, Attitude, the Allegra, the Jenyne, the Flying K, and more!
Advanced:
Continue to work on perfecting your moves, transitions, and aerial artistry, as well as spinning pole!
Pole Jam:
Pole jam is a free practice hour for all registered students. An instructor will take you through a quick warm up, and can help you with any moves you may be working on.
Stretch Class:
Our stretch class uses traditional dancer stretching designed to help you increase your flexibility and range of movement. Classes begin with a warm-up then progress through a series of static and dynamic stretches designed to increase your range of movement and elongate muscles in your entire body. A portion of the class is dedicated to improving splits.
Preparing for class:
Wear
yoga pants and a form fitting workout top. We workout in bare feet.
If you have your own yoga mat you may bring it. Otherwise yoga mats
are provided. Please do not wear rings to class, and avoid wearing
hand creams or lotions before class.
